Hi i am at the tedious age of 17 living in the great city of Melbourne Australia. The age of waiting and longing for that next birthday whilst watching all your friends reach the wonderful age of 18 where they can legally drink, drive (hopefully not simultaneously), go clubbing and vote etc etc....... hey it hasn't all been bad i gruduated, endured and witnessed all the cleshe's of the final year of schooling people passing out, stressing about exams, getting drunk, people parting too much, or not enough, tears, fights, isolation, breakups, celebration..... I am not much of writer my english teacher constantly reminded me of this, however its something that i allways wished i had the talent for. So i have completed school come back from schoolies and have suddenly found that i have too much free time on my hands so i have decided to create a livejournal.. (which will most likey be a 5 mintue wonder and i will forget about it in a week or so). This journal will most likely contain random rants, story's or quotes that i love or can relate too, things that i have supressed emotionally and that i find difficult to articulate to family or friends. Well i am going to start by explaining my nikname to you all. LAS stands for lama's appriciation Society (if your a fan of silverchair you should understand it) "Protège-moi de mes désirs". "Protege me from what i want". One of my all time favourite songs by placebo which amazing in both French and English it is hauntingly raw and emotional. I am now hopefully spending the rest of the summer working to pay for my trip to the UK next year where i will be be spending 6 months in Scottland partaking of hopefully a lifechanging GAP year working on a camp just outside of Edinbourgh.
